Individual Psychotherapy
& Cognitive Rehabilitation
Individual psychotherapy and cognitive rehabilitation therapy both involve 1-2 initial consultation sessions, typically lasting 60 minutes. In those sessions, I will gather information about your history and current symptoms to 1) help you identify treatment goals and 2) formulate a treatment plan. Subsequent sessions last 45-55 minutes. Weekly sessions are typically most effective in establishing rapport and promoting progress, but session frequency may change as treatment progresses or based on client availability and preferences.

Neuropsychological Assessment
Neuropsychological assessment begins with a diagnostic interview, in which I gather information about your presenting concerns, developmental and medical history, mental health history, social and academic history, occupational history, and family medical history. Based on the information you provide, I design a battery of tests that speak directly to your reasons for seeking the assessment. The assessment involves a combination of paper-and-pencil tests and computer-based assessments. During a feedback session 1-2 weeks after the assessment, I will review the findings, any diagnosis, and treatment recommendations. You will receive a written report with all relevant information within two weeks of the assessment date.

Costs & Insurance
I am currently an in-network provider for Blue Cross Blue Shield. I recommend that you contact your insurer to clarify your benefits and costs. The following questions may be used to guide that conversation.
Do I have a deductible? What is it and how much of it have I met? When does it reset?
What is my copay?
Is there a session limit?
I am an out of network provider for all other insurances. However, many insurance plans will reimburse you for a percentage of the cost of our sessions. Please contact your insurer to clarify your benefits. The following questions may be used to guide that conversation.
Do I have out-of-network benefits for mental health coverage?
Do I have a deductible? What is it and how much of it have I met? When does it reset?
What is my copay?
Is there a session limit?
Is there a lifetime maximum for out-of-network costs?
What is the reimbursement for CPT code 90791? 90834? 90837?
Clients may choose to pay privately. If you do so, your insurance does not have access to diagnostic or treatment information and cannot dictate the nature or duration of treatment. A 60-minute diagnostic intake is $280, and subsequent sessions are $250. Please contact me to discuss the out-of-pocket costs for neuropsychological evaluation.
